MAGNUSSON WARSAW ADVISES ON THE BALTIC PIPE PROJECT

2018-02-05

Magnusson Warsaw advised the Polish side on the Baltic Pipe project. Our services focused on the finalisation of the Open Season procedure.

Negotiations conducted with Energinet.dk, operator of the Danish gas transmission system, have been finalised with the conclusion of an agreement for gas transmission services for the years 2022-2037.

This agreement constitutes one of the key components of the Baltic Pipe project, enabling Poland to become independent from Russian gas.

The team of lawyers advising in the project was led by Magdalena Mitas, Partner and the Head of Energy and Infrastructure Practice.
