Magnusson wins award for Best managed international firm

Magnusson won the award for “Best managed international firm” at The Managing Partners’ Forum Awards for Management Excellence in association with Harvard Business Review, and the Financial Times.

The “Best managed international firm” award recognizes the management team of a firm with offices in multiple countries that can demonstrate that a coherent strategy has helped the business achieve superior returns and leadership in its chosen markets and sectors. The award was sponsored by Barclays.

In relation to Magnusson, the Judges noted:

Magnusson promotes cross-border collaboration, diversity and inclusiveness. Soliciting ideas for Tagline Competition from employees is an excellent example of a good management practice. The company promotes values such as trust, respect, excellence and entrepreneurship. These values are important for the internal organisational culture and external collaborations and customer service. Quantitative measures of success indicate good performance and growth.

The award was accepted by senior partner and founder Per Magnusson and partners Kristian Odebjer and Paulo Fohlin.

In 2014, Magnusson won the MPF Awards in the category “Best collaboration across international frontiers”.

Organized since 2002, the MPF Awards is the only competition that highlights management’s direct contribution to the client experience. The MPF Awards represent a unique opportunity to honour those advisory firms across the professions that have been judged by independent experts as being best managed, thereby making them highly attractive to clients and employees.
