Magnusson announces the promotion of three lawyers, Dawid Demianiuk, Dariusz Piróg, and Tomasz Rysiak, to the position of senior associate in its Warsaw office.

Dawid Demianiuk is a Polish attorney-at-law (adwokat). He specializes in real estate law (in particular due diligence of real estate and transaction process) and providing comprehensive legal assistance to national and foreign corporate entities, including companies listed on European stock exchanges. In particular, he was recently a member of the team advising Immofinanz Group on the acquisition of the shopping mall in Piła, Poland, from Rank Progress, and on the purchases of real properties for their “Stop.Shop” retail parks in Poland.

Dariusz Piróg is a Polish attorney-at-law (adwokat). His major practice areas include intellectual property law, unfair competition, litigation, and public procurement law. He has handled patents and trademarks prosecution matters, trademark and patent invalidation proceedings before the Polish Patent Office, infringement matters concerning patents, trademarks, and designs, as well as copyright infringement matters, and unfair competition. In particular, Dariusz was the leading lawyer in the proceedings concerning computer implemented inventions pending before the Polish administration courts and a member of the team advising in the case related to the scope of Bolar Exemption clause in Polish law.

Tomasz Rysiak is a Polish legal adviser (radca prawny). He specializes in tax, corporate law and M&A. In particular, Tomasz provides tax advice in the processes of purchase, development, commercialization and sale of commercial real estate, tax and legal advice in M&A transactions, including development of the tax efficient structures, participated in the due diligence of targets, negotiation of sale and purchase agreements, as well as business re-organizations and transformations.
