COMMENTS TO THE SWEDISH BAR ASSOCIATION'S DECISION
The firm has been completely cleared by the Swedish Bar Association on the accusations by Svenska Dagbladet on our Chinese practice.
On a minor note, Per Magnusson was reprimanded in his capacity as Managing Partner for not ensuring that fees to the Swedish Bar were paid for a Chinese lawyer. We had previously acknowledged that we may have misinterpreted the regulations, thus this decision was expected. However, this is by any standard a mistake of little significance and has nothing to do with the theme for Svenska Dagbladet' s serious and unfounded allegations. We are pleased that we have now conclusively demonstrated that Svenska Dagbladet had no basis whatsoever for their theme of accusations.
