The American Lawyer, one of the most influential legal magazines in the USA, announced the shortlist for The Transatlantic Legal Awards 2016. Magnusson is one of two finalists in the category: European Law Firm of the Year: Nordic Countries.
Law firms shortlisted in other categories, include, among others, Slaughter and May, Freshfields, Jones Day, Shearman Sterling, Skadden Arps, and Latham & Watkins. Companies shortlisted in the corporate categories include Microsoft, GE and Liberty Global.
The awards recognize law firms for excellence in handling transatlantic matters across the key areas of corporate, finance and disputes, as well as highlighting law firm innovation, commitment to pro bono, outstanding transatlantic strategy, and in-house leaders. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner in London on June 7, 2016.
