MAGNUSSON COPENHAGEN ADVISES ON DEAL AT THE FRONTIER OF THE FINANCIAL SERVICES SECTOR

Magnusson Copenhagen has advised Conning, a leading global investment management firm, in connection with the acquisition of a stake in Global Evolution, a premier specialist investment manager of emerging and frontier market debt strategies based in Kolding, Denmark.

On 21 December 2017, Conning and Global Evolution, announced the signing of a definitive agreement for Conning to acquire a 45 percent stake in Global Evolution. Magnusson Copenhagen provided legal assistance to Conning on all legal aspects of the deal, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating the transaction documents, regulatory issues etc. 

Partner Nikolaj Juhl Hansen lead the deal team. Other key team members includes Søren Theilgaard, Anders Worsøe, Kiki Lara Bruun Kiilerich, Caspar Rose and Xandra Hjorth.
