Magnusson Latvia partners take the stage at the Meeting of the Latvian Association of Executive Officers of Municipalities

On April 5, the meeting of the Latvian Association of Executive Officers of Municipalities (LPIA) took place in Nereta county, Latvia. These meetings are held on a monthly basis, to inform Executive Officers of Municipalities on relevant matters.

This meeting covered topics such as civil protection, cyber security aspects (performed by Ieva Ilves) and personal data protection. Magnusson Latvia lawyers, Gints Puškundzis and Matīss Rostoks, informed the participants about the highly topical personal data protection, Whistleblowing Law and amendments made to the Competition Law imposing new requirements to the municipalities and state enterprises.
