MAGNUSSON MARCHES ON MIDDLE EAST

2016-02-02

With the lifting of Iranian sanctions, Magnusson offers guidance and assistance to companies interested in the Middle East.

Magnusson has for several years been closely following developments in the Middle East. In tandem with this drive, our Magnusson Middle East group was created in July 2015, which includes, among others, Magnusson Middle East Representative Saideh Yahyavi, and Middle East Specialist Counsel Maher Khadour.

As we know, companies from the Baltic Sea Region are increasingly going global and have begun to show significant interest in Middle East business opportunities, not least in connection with the lifting of Iranian sanctions. We are both well-equipped and ready to address this need and are delighted to offer our know-how and guidance on Middle East matters, states Senior Partner Per Magnusson.

The Magnusson Roadmap to Middle East Success includes:

  • a carefully developed network of local attorneys in Iran, UAE and other countries in the Middle East, with whom we have already been working on various joint projects;
  • a thorough understanding of the local culture, language and business law;
  • an ability to explain in your own language the essence of foreign concepts within a foreign culture, avoiding simplistic word-for-word translations;
  • the facilitation of relations with local partners, helping you reach an understanding in order to develop your business;
  • a strong and proven methodology for handling cross-border work;
  • the necessary skills to give your business a head start on the road to success.
