MAGNUSSON ADVISES AREAS ON THE TENDER WIN FOR CATERING SOLUTIONS FOR COPENHAGEN AIRPORT

The Copenhagen office of international law firm Magnusson advised Areas, a global leader in concession catering and brand of Elior Group, in connection with its successful bid in the tender for a concession catering contract for Copenhagen Airport.

Winning of the tender was announced on 13 September 2016, and Areas will start operating at the Copenhagen Airport from March 2017. Areas will be offering catering solutions in conjunction with RETREAT, a brand that enjoys tremendous success in Denmark. Copenhagen Airport is reputed for the quality of its shopping areas and was elected the World’s Best Airport for its catering offer.

Magnusson advised Areas on all matters relating to the tender, and it will advise going forward on employment, commercial lease, commercial contracts and company law matters related to the project. Magnusson’s team advising Areas is being led by partners Nikolaj Juhl Hansen (corporate and commercial matters), Anders Worsøe (employment) and Jens Vinther Nielsen (real estate).
