MAGNUSSON HIRES NEW SENIOR COUNSEL TO HEAD TECHNOLOGY PRACTICE IN FINLAND

Magnusson strengthens its technology practice with the arrival of Andrei Donoghue, who joins as Senior Counsel and head of the technology practice in Finland.

Prior to joining Magnusson, Andrei worked as Assistant General Counsel at Microsoft holding several senior positions. He was most recently the legal head of the Polku Programme, and prior to that the Head of Microsoft’s Manufacturing and Supply Chain Legal Team. Andrei’s team supported Microsoft’s global strategic sourcing, customer care and quality management, Logistics, manufacturing operations, as well as other areas of the supply chain organization.

Before joining Microsoft, Andrei worked at Nokia Corporation as Legal Director and headed the Operations and Information and Communications Management Legal Team. The team supported Nokia’s global sourcing, customer care, sustainability, as well as information and communications technology functions.

Andrei’s areas of expertise include IT related contracts, hardware sourcing, software licensing, IT outsourcing, consumer protection, product safety, cyber security, and logistics.

Andrei and his team advises both international and domestic clients, from a wide range of industries, in Finland and beyond, in particularly on technology related contracts, licensing, privacy, and cyber security.
