MAGNUSSON COPENHAGEN BOLSTERS THE TEAM WITH 3 HIRES
Caspar Rose joins Magnusson from a position as a Professor at the Copenhagen Business School, and will be a Senior Counsel within Magnusson’s Danish corporate team. Caspar will specialize in corporate and commercial law, with a specific focus on M&A, securities and stock market regulations, company law, financial regulatory issues as well as corporate governance. Caspar has extensive academic experience within various aspects of corporate law, and is the author of numerous research projects and articles on related subject matters. Casper’s ability to advice on issues in the intersection of legal regulation and financial/commercial perspectives are underpinned by the facts that in addition to his Master of Laws he holds a Ph.D in finance and a Master of Economics (cand.merc.(fir)).
In addition to Casper Rose, Magnusson has also recently bolstered its EU, competition and public law capabilities with the recruitment of associates Xandra Hjorth and Margrethe Vrang.
Xandra joins Magnusson from Bruxelles where she has previously worked for French international law firm Gide Loyrette Nouel and US firm McDermott Will & Emery. Xandra will advise on competition law and the general framework of EU law, with a specific focus on data protection and GDPR, energy and environment as well as the transport sector and the financial sectors.
Margrethe joins Magnusson’s public law team, where she will draw on a long career working in the public sector before joining Magnusson. Margrethe will especially focus on administrative law relevant to commercial businesses as well as on tender issues. Margrethe is a native Polish speaker, and advises Polish clients on doing business in Denmark as well as Danish clients on doing business in Poland.
