Simon is a Danish attorney-at-law and is affiliated with Magnusson Law as Legal Director and works as an independent legal advisor with primary focus on gambling and entertainment. Simon has more than 10 years of experience working within the gambling industry as head of legal for the largest gambling operator in Denmark and as external legal advisor for several Danish and foreign gambling operators and gambling service providers.

Simon has extensive experience advising on all legal matters for operators, service providers and affiliates on the gambling market, including applications for gambling licenses, drafting and negotiating gambling software license agreements, conducting gambling provision audits, advising on responsible gambling and advertising as well as implementing anti-money laundering measures.

Further, Simon has several years of broad commercial law experience working as attorney-at-law and as in-house legal counsel and head of legal for Danish and foreign companies, especially on the regulation of tobacco and nicotine, intellectual property rights, technology, marketing law and data protection. These focus areas include proficiency in compliance with sector-specific regulation on advertising, drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts such as license, sales and service agreements and preparation of privacy policies and data processing agreements.
