Rūta Didikė is a Lithuanian attorney-at-law based in Magnusson’s Vilnius office. She is a member of the Lithuanian Bar Association. Rūta specializes in labour and employment. She advises corporate clients on adapting and implementing IT solutions. She also specializes in intellectual property, represents both authors and owners of related rights, as well as she is working with music copyright collecting societies. She represents clients in commercial, labour and family disputes, as well as in administrative disputes. She specializes in representation of health care and medical institutions in relations with patients regarding recovery of damage to health and other violations of their rights, representation in contacts with state authorities and municipal institutions, as well as other entities, enterprises and organizations. In 2009- 2010, Rūta has successfully represented members of the Vilnius City Municipality trade union in a court case. The case related to disciplinary actions or dismissals concerning the union members during the reorganization of the Vilnius City Municipality administration. Prior to joining Magnusson, Rūta was with ADLEX law firm. Rūta graduated from the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University with a master's degree in law (2006). She has been practising law since 2003. Since 2013 Rūta is a lecturer in intellectual property law at Lithuanian Educology University. Rūta is recommended by a prestigious legal ranking publication, The Legal 500 EMEA 2014 Edition, for Dispute Resolution in Lithuania. Apart from Lithuanian, Rūta speaks English, Russian and German.
