Magnusson recognized for Legaltech Innovation

Legal Week Innovation Awards celebrate creative excellence in the legal profession. In 2015 Magnusson won the inaugural edition of Legal Week Innovation Awards (International Law Firm Innovation), and has been a finalist every year since then.

Once again, Magnusson is a finalist of Legal Week Innovation Awards 2018, in the category International Law Firm Innovation.

Being among the 2018 finalists is a recognition particularly for the Poland and Sweden offices for their role in the creation of the LEX247 practice management system.

Unable to find an off-the-shelf practice management system, matching the ambitions and requirements of an international firm, offering flexibility, information security and quality, Magnusson decided to take their destiny in their own hands and teamed up with LEX247, a Swedish legal-tech start-up.

The Magnusson Poland and Sweden offices, the largest operations of the firm, took the lead on Magnusson’s end.

The core team on the Magnusson side included: Karin Rolander, IT Manager Sweden, and Adam Kotarbiński, CIO / Partner, based in the Warsaw office.

The result is LEX247 (www.lex247.com), a new generation, legal practice management system, entirely based on the Microsoft cloud, which equates to information security and quality, combined with the flexibility of SaaS. In Autumn 2017, LEX247 was launched on the market.

The 2018 Awards ceremony will take place on 25 May 2018 in London.
