Christina Säll is a senior associate in Magnusson’s Dispute Resolution & Employment group.

Christina Säll focuses her practice on employment, commercial litigation and arbitration. She has served as counsel in arbitration as well as in litigation proceedings before the Swedish courts, representing clients from a wide range of sectors. Moreover, her experience as counsel covers assisting employers in relation to both complex and day-to-day employment matters, including for example advising on workforce reduction strategies, employment law aspects of national and cross-border corporate transactions, union consultations, and the interpretation of non-competition agreements. She also has experience in providing advice in relation to whistleblowing protection matters.

Prior to joining Magnusson Christina served as a law clerk at the District Court of Stockholm.

  • Representing a company within the mining industry in an arbitration (SCC) regarding contractual issues
  • Regularly represents a number of known insurance companies regarding insurance coverage against insured parties in court litigation.
  • Advising on non-competition restrictions in employment contracts/shareholder agreements and court litigation regarding the same.
  • Advising on employment law aspects concerning national and cross-border corporate transactions, workforce reductions and strategy issues, terminations of executives, consultations with unions and interpretation of collective bargaining agreements.
  • Advising on post-closing activities such as managing director agreements and employment agreements for key employees.

Publications

Christina Säll has experience as a speaker in both employment law and whistleblower protection. She is also the co-author of the Swedish chapter in Global Legal Insights – Employment and Labour Law in 2020 and 2022.
