SUMMARY
Mirjam Trisberg is a senior associate specialising in intellectual property law, media law, and commercial law. She is the head of IP team at Magnusson Estonia.
Mirjam has advised a number of industry-leading companies across a range of sectors including one of Estonia’s largest production companies on issues of intellectual property law and media law; a multinational cigarette and tobacco company in legal requirements for the communication of tobacco and related products, advertising restrictions and regulatory matters; a leading Finnish medical technology company in matters of intellectual property law and business law; and one of the largest importers and distributors of automotive spare parts in Central and Eastern Europe in commercial law matters. She is continuously recommended and recognized as a rising star for IP, IT, and Telecoms in Estonia by the leading international legal directory The Legal 500.
Mirjam’s unique experience covers studying both Estonian and US law. Having graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tartu in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree she obtained an LL.M. degree in American/International law, summa cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2011. Mirjam has successfully passed the Tennessee Bar Exam in the United States and she is a member of the Estonian Bar Association.
Prior to joining Magnusson, Mirjam worked as an associate with another Estonian law firm, she has gained experience at the legal department of the Estonian Public Broadcasting and in the Tokyo branch of an international American company.
Apart from her native Estonian, Mirjam is fluent in English.
