Levon Grigorian is a Russian lawyer (advocate) and he is also admitted to practice in Texas, USA.
His practice is primarily focused on multi-jurisdictional litigation, international arbitration, sanctions, international anti-corruption and other investigations. His expertise also includes various aspects of foreign investments in joint ventures, M&A, natural resources, telecommunications, maritime and other international projects, with an emphasis on Russia and other countries of the former Soviet Union.
Over the last 30 years, Levon Grigorian has served as counsel to large domestic and foreign public and private corporations and governments, working extensively on a number of major international corporate, oil and gas, mining, privatization and other commercial and nonprofit projects.
He has gained significant experience advising clients on international trade and public policy matters including the U.S., EU and other sanctions programs and export controls, the U.S. Jones Act and the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the U.K. Bribery Act.
He also has acted as counsel to various parties and as an expert witness in several substantial international arbitral and judicial proceedings.
Levon Grigorian has participated in the drafting of several laws and regulations in Russia and other jurisdictions.
In addition to years of work as a commercial lawyer in Russia, Levon Grigorian practised law for over 15 years in the United States and elsewhere at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, King & Spalding LLP and Mayer Brown LLP.
He has authored a number of articles and presentations concerning international legal and business matters.
