Magnusson advised Hycamite TCD Technologies (“Hycamite”) on their completed two-step series A financing round raising 44 million euros from strategic and financial investors.
Hycamite has constructed Europe’s largest methane-splitting plant in Kokkola, Finland. Their zero-emission technology produces hydrogen and industrial-quality solid carbon products from methane. Hycamite technology uses only 13 % of the energy required to produce hydrogen through electrolysis.
“This investment will enable us to reach an important milestone for industrial scaling,” said Ms. Laura Rahikka, CEO and Co-Founder of Hycamite.
Magnusson’s core team comprised of Partner Heikki Wide, Senior Associate Emilia Alakurtti, Specialist Counsel Maher Khadour and Associates Elisa Myllylä and Sara Mäkinen.
