Maher Khadour

Maher is a Syrian Attorney-at-law based at the Magnusson Helsinki office, specializing in international business and corporate law, energy law, and corporate sustainability.

With over 15 years of legal experience in Finland and the Middle East, Maher has acted as counsel in numerous complex investment and cross-border M&A transactions. In addition to his transactional work, Maher advises on a wide range of commercial contracts, including supply and purchase agreements, licensing agreements, distribution agreements, agency agreements, research and development agreements, among others.

Maher also has in-depth expertise in energy and environmental law matters, with a focus on renewable energy, hydrogen, and carbon management technologies.

Prior to joining Magnusson in 2015, Maher worked for a Syrian law firm in Damascus, where he gained substantial experience in advising international clients operating throughout the Middle East. He continuously advises international clients on legal matters relating to the Middle East.
