The Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communication have reached an agreement on initiating changes to the Estonian Aliens Act aimed at simplifying recruitment of skilled workforce from third (non-EU) countries. The three most important changes include lowering the salary requirement for top specialists, extending short term employment registrations, and simplifying the global hiring process for growing technology-based companies.
