It has been 20 years since Magnusson was founded. What has shaped us into the firm we are today?
– What has shaped us and been key to our success is the combination of several crucial factors. Foremost is our focus on having specialists in nearly all areas of business law, with experience across multiple industries, combined with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. This has been central to our development. We have always prioritised our clients’ needs and strived to provide them with the best solutions. At the same time, we have recognised that our success depends on the well-being of our employees. By creating a work environment that encourages growth and work – life balance, we have been able to recruit and retain top talent. Another important factor is our conviction that diversity and equality create a stronger organisation, and in recent years, we have proudly presented one of the few gender-balanced boards in the industry. It is the combination of these factors – expertise, client focus, entrepreneurial spirit, employee well-being, and diversity – that forms the essence of Magnusson and has shaped us into the law firm we are today.
What do you see as the greatest challenges and opportunities for the firm in the coming years, and how do we plan to address them?
– One of the biggest challenges our industry faces in the coming years is the rapid development of technology and the increasingly complex global business environment. Digitalisation, AI, and changes in international regulations impose new demands on both legal advisory services and how businesses operate in the marketplace. This means that we must continuously adapt and update our skills to provide our clients with the best solutions in an ever-changing world. At the same time, we see significant opportunities in these changes. Areas such as sustainability/ESG, AI law, and international business law present pathways for us to grow and further strengthen our position.
How do you see our relationship with clients evolving over the coming years? What new services or initiatives can we expect?
– Our relationship with clients will continue to be built on trust and long-term partnerships. As an international business law firm with a strong local presence, we are uniquely positioned to offer tailored solutions to both large multinational companies and startups. The demand for more specialised advice in complex cases is growing, and we are addressing this by ensuring our experts continuously develop their specialist knowledge to deliver innovative solutions tailored to our clients’ unique needs. Through close dialogue and collaboration with our clients, we can ensure that we not only meet today’s demands but are also proactive in anticipating future challenges. We look forward to working together with our clients to shape and seize the opportunities of the future.
