MAGNUSSON DENMARK DEAL NEWS – ASSISTING WITH CROSS BORDER FINANCING DEAL OF £ 38 MIO

Magnusson advised Metro Bank (UK) in supporting a new to bank client secure a £38m funding package for facilitating the refinancing of six branded hotels in key regional markets.

Led by Magnusson Denmark Managing Partner and Head of Corporate M&A, Sam Jalaei, the Magnusson Denmark team worked hand-in-hand alongside the client’s esteemed UK counsel, Gateley, as local legal counsel for MetroBank in the regional refinancing a highly regarded hotel sponsor. This deal allowed MetroBank to service its British client in carrying on business beyond the borders of the UK through entities registered in Scandinavia.
