Summary

Jekaterina Iljina is an Associate at the Tallinn Office. She specialises in banking and finance, corporate and mergers and acquisitions. Jekaterina has been involved in several international and domestic M&A and financial transactions.

She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tartu in 2018 with a master’s degree in Law and also studied at the University of Sheffield and Utrecht. Prior to joining Magnusson, she worked as a lawyer in another Estonian law firm and also gained experience as a trainee at the Supreme Court of Estonia. In addition to this, Jekaterina had been providing free legal advice at the University of Tartu Students’ Legal Clinic on a voluntary basis. Jekaterina also has also represented Estonia in the European Law Moot Court competition.
