- If you do not provide your personal data which we are obligated to process by law or which is necessary for the conclusion/performance of the agreement, we will be unable to enter into / perform the legal services agreement with you.
- Your data may be transferred to the following recipients: our lawyers, IT service providers, financial accounting firms, the Financial Crime Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania, insurance companies, the State Data Protection Inspectorate of the Republic of Lithuania, courier / postal service providers, the State Tax Inspectorate of the Republic of Lithuania, providers of translation services, other providers of legal services, the Lithuanian Bar Association, debt collection agencies, courts, notary offices, firms of judicial officers (bailiffs), entities managing state registers, and other institutions (when it is necessary for the provision of legal services).
- We do not apply automated decision-making in processing your personal data.
- In some cases, when providing legal services to you, we may transfer your personal data to a third country regarding which an adequacy decision is adopted or, in individual cases of data transfers, to a third country where an adequacy decision is absent but: (i) you have explicitly consented to such data transfer, (ii) the data transfer is necessary for the performance of a contract between you and the data controller or the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken at your request, (iii) the data transfer is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract concluded in your interest between the data controller and another natural or legal person, (iv) the data transfer is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, (v) the data transfer is made from a register which is intended to provide information to the public.
- In the process of performance of the legal services agreement, we may process your personal data received from courts, the State Social Insurance Fund Board (SODRA) of the Republic of Lithuania, the State Tax Inspectorate under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania, state registers, notaries, judicial officers (bailiffs), other lawyers, other institutions and third parties when it is necessary for the provision of legal services. We will not inform you additionally about such data processing.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to submit us your request for:
- information about and access to your personal data being processed;
- rectification of your personal data;
- erasure of your personal data;
- restriction of processing of your personal data;
- provision of your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format (data portability);
- an indication that you do not consent to the processing of your personal data (if the basis for data processing is our legitimate interest or we process your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing).
If your consent is the basis for processing of your personal data, you have the right to withdraw your consent and our right to process your personal data at any time by informing us via e-mail vilnius@magnussonlaw.com
Your requests should contain the following: the information enabling us to identify you as the data subject; the actions being requested; the personal data with respect to which the actions are requested. We will examine your request within 30 (thirty) days from its receipt, and inform you about the actions taken in response to your request. You will be notified in the same manner in which the request was submitted.
