Magnusson is proud to announce that we advised Smilegate Holdings Inc. in connection with the reconstruction of Starbreeze AB (publ) as well as in a Euro 40 million call/put option scheme between Smilegate Holdings Inc. and Digital Bros SpA relating, inter alia, to a SEK 215 million convertible bond in Starbreeze AB and all of Smilegate’s shares in Starbreeze AB.
Smilegate Holdings Inc., is a South Korean video game developer and publisher, which develops, publishes and services mobile and PC online games.
Digital Bros S.p.A. is a public Italian video game developer and publisher listed on the star segment of Borsa Italiana.
Magnusson’s core team consisted of Magdalena Berg (Dispute Resolution/Insolvency), Robert Karlsson (Capital Markets), Helena Rönqvist (IP/IT) Jonas Bergquist and associate Katerina Madzarova (Corporate and M&A). Digital Bros was advised by Dario Treves, name partner of the Italian firm.
