Managing Partner and Head of Corporate M&A and Private Equity, Sam Jalaei, from Magnusson Denmark led the Magnusson team in assisting long-term client and SIX Swiss Exchange listed SFS Group expand its market access in the Nordic construction industry through its acquisition of Construcplan AB.
This transaction in Sweden followed Magnusson Denmark’s guidance of SFS Group’s entry into Denmark when acting as its local advisors for the Swiss group’s acquisition of Jevith A/S in 2021.
Construcplan is a Swedish software developer of digital tools for construction planning, including solutions for roof measurement and estimation in line with local industry standards.
SFS Group is a leading global provider of mechanical fastening systems and precision components, with manufacturing sites and distribution companies at 150 locations across 35 countries. In the fiscal year 2024, the Group recorded sales of over CHF 3 billion and employed over 13,500 full-time equivalents (FTEs).

Magnusson’s Corporate M&A team undertook comprehensive legal due diligence and prepared the corresponding report, before assisting SFS with the drafting and negotiation of all transaction documents. As an essential and mandatory element of completing the transaction, Magnusson successfully handled the relevant foreign direct investment (FDI) application to the Swedish Inspektionen för Strategiska Produkter (ISP).
The acquisition enhances SFS Group’s digital offering within the Northern European construction industry.
