Magnusson acted as legal advisor to the sellers in the sale of Kutepa Group to Metecom Oy

Magnusson acted as legal advisor to the sellers in the transaction in which Metecom Oy acquired the entire share capital of Kutepa Group. As a result of the transaction, Kuortaneen Teollisuuspalvelu Oy and its subsidiaries became part of Metecom.

Kutepa Group (Kuortaneen Teollisuuspalvelu Oy, Kutepa Rubber Service Oy, Kutepa Industrial Service Oy, Kutepa Eletric Service Oy ja Kutepa Sweden AB) is one of Finland’s leading suppliers of industrial tanks and silos. The group designs, manufactures, installs and maintains tanks, silos and material handling systems for the process, mining, energy and forest industries, among others, and also produces SITE transport equipment superstructures and provides wear and corrosion protection.The group’s manufacturing of welded structures is certified to the highest standards in the field, reflecting its strong technical expertise and quality in demanding industrial deliveries.

Metecom is a Finnish serial acquirer in the industrial and metal sectors, owned by MVE Capital Oy and The Brawe Capital Oy. Kutepa Group is Metecom’s first acquisition and serves as a platform around which the owners aim to build a broader metal industry group through complementary acquisitions.

Magnusson assisted the sellers in bringing the transaction to completion and was responsible for addressing the seller’s legal interests in the key aspects of the deal. Magnusson’s solution-oriented legal support contributed to the controlled completion of this significant change of ownership and helped lay the groundwork for the continuation of Kutepa’s business under its new ownership.
