Magnusson assisted SSA Rakennus Oy in connection with construction project Meander of Newil&Bau

SSA Rakennus Oy has agreed to build one of the most interesting housing projects of the moment, Meander, for Newil&Bau. The 117-apartment residential building, designed by Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma’s architect Steven Holl, will be built in Töölö, on the shores of Taivallahti. Meander’s special features include, for example, cinema, wine room, sauna with an outdoor terrace, banquet, co-working area, yoga room and bike service point.

SSA is a growing nationwide constructor of residential and non-residential buildings. At the moment, SSA’s most famous reference is VALO Hotel & Work Helsinki. The builder of the Meander project, Newil&Bau and SSA have in cooperation created a good basis for implementing this type of high-quality project.

Magnusson assisted SSA with the contract negotiations and assessing construction law related issues and project specification. Magnusson’s team on the assignment included construction and corporate law experts Heikki Wide, Lauri Toivio and Liisa Immonen.
